I've developed a bit of a cold. First it was a sore throat that lasted a few days. Now it's a runny nose.
My boss from my previous company will be starting at my current company on Monday. I am quite excited and look forward to working with him again.
I went to two Aikido practices on Wednesday. I don't know if it was the slower, pre-holiday work day or what, but two practices in one day feels good after.

This is a scan of the birthday card my parents got me.
I got to go auto-crossing yesterday. For those who don't know, auto-crossing is racing in a big parking lot around cones. The car is timed around the course, and cars generally don't get out of 2nd gear (~60 mph tops). It was a blast, and I'll be back doing it again. The real trick will be to avoid getting sucked into the "lets see how much I can mod my car to go 1 second faster" mentality.
So... 23... it doesn't feel much different. It just reminds me how young I am in comparison to my peers. Granted, after 23 years of being the young one I should be used to it.
This weekend I was up in the mountains on a retreat with church. It was tons of fun and there were a lot of the young-adults members there. The speaker was good. There was a zip line, and that was a good ride. Nothing like standing on a piece of plywood 40 feet up, then stepping off and hoping your gear holds you.
