A month goes by and I only post once? Oh well.

It's been an insane month. I nearly broke my finger at Aikido and there has been some problems at work (which seem to be getting much better now).

I set an appointment to take the GRE at the end of March. I figure that 4 weeks (5 weekends) should be enough to prepare since I'm not taking classes at the same time.

  This week I went up to UC Irvine for a Career Fair (representing my company). I was tagging along with our HR guy, and we had a little booth. It was a lot of fun getting out of the office and meeting potential candidates (maybe one of them will be on my team in a few months).

A lot of EE majors (including some PhDs) were coming and trying to work at our company. We had no positions, but they really wanted us to have their resume. It seems that most of the EE work has gone overseas, and there are only a few who do the EE work (the role is largely replaced by flash ROM which is programmable). Somehow, it makes dropping out of EE during one's Junior year to go into Philosophy seem like a brilliant career move.
