Slacker...
I'm such a slacker that it seems rather fitting my file server runs "Slackware."
Anyway, here is a picture of the wheels I got (as promised... oh, a month ago). They are back on my car because there was an autox this morning.

Anyway, life goes on. I'm trying to be more disciplined in my incidental spending. Specifically, food. I get take out for lunch or dinner way too often. I'm trying to cook at home more during the week and eating my frozen lunches at work.
Woah, time flies.
Ok, so it's been almost a month since I last posted. Oops.
My company has been officially bought by AudioCodes. For those who don't know, AudioCodes is an Israeli company (traded on Nasdaq though). For those who don't have TV, Internet, or water coolers to talk by, Israel is at war. Great.
So far, life in the new company has been good. After the deal was secured, everything was more relaxed (although my stock payout is still pending, possibly in the mail).
I've booked plane tickets to Chicago for Labor Day weekend. I'll be staying with Fil, and I hope to see as many friends in the area as possible while I'm there.
Labor Day... Labor Day... what was I doing last year during Labor Day? Oh, right, that's when we moved into this apartment. It's been almost a year and I still like the place.
- It doesn't have any drug addicts hanging around the back alley.
- Maintanence is fairly responsive.
- The A/C works.
- I'm not on the ground floor.
- There isn't a mental out patient house two buildings away.
- It doesn't snow in the winter (not sure if this is good or bad).
- Parking is simple (lots of visitor parking, so no one has taken our space).
- Jacuzzi.
