Florida Vacation Last weekend I was over in Florida visiting Brittany. I had a very good time. While I was there, I stayed at the Ronald McDonald House she works at (since they had extra rooms and it was near her apartment). We went to Disney World on Saturday with her "Florida" parents. I saw the fireworks at Epcot and enjoyed a very nice Italian meal. I also went to Mass with her on Sunday.

Other than that, there was lots of laziness on a hammock, bumming around the mall, TV watching, and comments about how insanely hot it was (90 and humid each day).

Despite waking up at 5 am Eastern, I was wide awake for my midterm at 5 pm Pacific. It probably wasn't the best scheduling idea, but all is well that ends well.

  Homework I'm heading out of town later this week. I get back, there is a homework assignment due and a midterm. I've been working very hard to finish that homework assignment before I leave. My suggestion to all who may plan on doing college classes while working is to make sure you know when things are due and when the tests are before planning any vacations. Oops.

That said, I am looking forward to it and all of this work will have been worth it.

  And Things Get Complicated... The quarter is heating up for class. Lots of reading and lots of problems to turn in. I'm trying to balance that with not falling behind in my project. This weekend will be spent working on the next problem set, reading, working on the project, and studying for the midterm a week from Monday.

To make matters more complicated (yet fun), I'm flying to Florida next Thursday. The return flight is Monday morning, and I'll arrive a few hours before the midterm.
