  New Beginnings
I started at Intuit today and I found three amusing surprises.
  1. I'm alone in my office
  2. My monitor is 22" or something (wide screen, 1920x1200)
  3. Sodhexo is responsible for the cafeteria (damn you Saga, I can never escape you).
It was a good day, and I'm glad to be there.

  Florida Vacation: 2
I flew to Florida on Thursday and got back yesterday. Soooo tired. I wish flights back didn't involve waking up at 5:30 am (which is 2:30 am here).

Ronald McDonald House in Orlando had a 10 year celebration. Brittany was running around managing it all, and I found myself directing traffic. It was kind of cool having a police officer come up to me for instructions. Her second family were there, and the husband was Santa. What was funny was he already had the white hair and big white beard. All he needed were the clothes.

We kept having this weird thing with amounts we were charged. The first night we paid $17.00 for pizza (including soda and a good tip). The next day it was $17.00 for Panera and $17.00 for two movie tickets (Casino Royale, still good after the second viewing). Then we got out of the movie at 10:10 pm and searched for food. The food we found cost us $10.10. This kept going on for the entire weekend. So weird.

  Mulligan
I went to deliver my printed out paper, homework, and final only to find out that one of my problems was wrong. Very wrong. As in, not even partial credit wrong. It was worth 9 points out of the quarter's 100 points (so basically a whole letter grade). I fixed it over the course of today and turned it in. I feel sooo much better now.

Tomorrow I'm flying to Florida to see Brittany. I'll be back on Monday. Then it's a mad dash to get my application to UCSD in...

  Finals Week
The last two weeks have felt kind of like a wild ride as I've finished up all of my work for my project and class. I was given the all clear on my project last week, and I just finished my class work.

In other news, I will be starting at my new job at Intuit in less than 2 weeks.
